I’ve spent my life immersed in stories, small towns, charming gardens, and the little mysteries tucked into everyday life. As the author of several cozy mystery series — including The Halfway Point Lodge and The Garden Gate Mysteries — I love crafting worlds where secrets bloom, puzzles unfold, and readers can lose themselves in a story that’s equal parts suspense and comfort.

Beyond the page, I bring these worlds to life through Root & Quill — my lifestyle brand celebrating cozy living, slow growth, and handmade treasures. From seasonal teas and candles to journals and bath products, Root & Quill lets readers experience the charm, warmth, and inspiration of my stories in the real world.

When I’m not writing or creating, you’ll find me teaching 5th grade, tending my own garden, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, or curling up with a good mystery under a blanket with a cup of tea.
