April was a strange, strange, really strange month for me. I often found myself wandering aimlessly around the house. I had more than enough projects to work on and things I wanted to do but just couldn’t settle down to get anything accomplished.

Have you ever had a period of time like that?

When I sat down and reviewed the goals I set at the beginning of the month I was actually rather surprised that I did manage to get a lot accomplished.

I wrote just over 10,000 words so about half the 20,000 I had hoped to do but I spent a lot of time rewriting the murder mystery plot line in Death in the Desert. I also managed to flush out the outline for book 2 in the Silver Shores series and I even plotted out book 3. As a bonus, I revisited the Christmas stand alone novel and figured out what I need to do to finish that one up.

All in all, progress was made.
